Light Sensor Experiments
🔆 Photoresistor (LDR) Principle
Resistance changes inversely with light: bright → hundreds of ohms, dark → several megaohms.
🧪 Four Experiments
- Auto night light 🌙: in dark, LDR resistance rises → voltage across LED rises → light on
- Sun-tracking robot ☀️: two LDRs compare the difference, turn toward the stronger light
- Light telegraph 📡: LED blinks Morse code → LDR detects and decodes the message
- Photo counter 🔢: laser + LDR form a light gate counting passing objects
