π Global Young Engineers AI CDIO (AICDIO) Education Initiative

Preface
Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping the technological landscape of human society and has become the core driving force of global progress. Yet today's AI education suffers from the following imbalances:
- β οΈ Theory-heavy, practice-light β students know AI concepts but cannot apply them
- β οΈ Technology-heavy, ethics-light β focus on skills training while neglecting humanistic care
Such imbalance fails to meet future society's need for versatile innovative talent.
Our Initiative: AICDIO
We propose building an AI education system for youth worldwide on the framework of the internationally leading CDIO engineering-education model β AICDIO (Artificial Intelligence CDIO).
What Is CDIO?

The CDIO engineering-education model was jointly launched in 2000 by MIT and other world-top engineering institutions, and has been adopted by hundreds of universities worldwide.

Goal 2: Three Senses & Three Powers Literacy System
Based on the educational philosophy proposed by Dr. Cao Weixun:
- Three Senses (intrinsic drive): Story Sense, Entertainment Sense, Meaning Sense
- Three Powers (external expression): Design Power, Empathy Power, Willpower
Goal 3: Cross-Disciplinary Fusion
Break down subject barriers, integrating Science (S), Technology (T), Engineering (E), Art (A), Math (M).
Goal 4: Industry-Education Integration
Connect industry and education, exposing students to real AI application scenarios.
Goal 5: Global Layout
Build an international AI education experimental-school alliance to promote cross-border exchange and cooperation.
Goal 6: Equitable Access
Lower the barrier to AI education so every child β urban or rural, rich or poor β can access quality AI education.
